I finished up my work and was about to leave and remembered. OMG, I hadn't talked to One Tree Hill Music Supervisor Lindsay Wolfington in two days. We usually talk by email at least twice or sometimes three times a week.
I tell her my new musical adventures or what band I am about to interview. Or it is her turn to give me some bands that will be on future episodes of One Tree Hill.
And then there are the rare occasions we do an interview. LOL
Tonight she emails me from her blackberry, fancy pants, and is like I am at a showcase with Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers. Why, the very band that intros my One Tree Hill Podcast with the song "4th of July." The same band who had their song "Hearts in Pain" in One Tree Hill this season.
I still claim I helped get Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers on One Tree Hill. After seeing them live this fall, I talked to Stephen. He mentioned Mark Schwahn had come to see them when Kate Voegele was touring with them and liked their music. Then I talked about them and put their song on my podcast and a few weeks later they are on OTH.
Not sure if I had anything to do with it, but I can claim to. LOL
Well, back to Lindsay.
She told me two other bands she was seeing, she is after all my musical guru, and said I should listen. They are up my alley. Ha, like she knows my alley.
Well, she does. Because her suggestion of Sarah Borges and the Broken Singles rocks.
Check them out. She is awesome.
Well, off of to listen to THE Lindsay Wolfington's new suggestons.

The name isn't offensive. It is a character name from the Farscape series.
